Prof. Dr. Leyla Karaca
Director of Transplant Surgery
Prof. Dr. Leyla Karaca leads the liver transplant programme with a strong emphasis on donor safety and surgical coordination. She works through shared decision-making with ethics, hepatology and infectious disease teams.
A large part of her publications focuses on graft survival, ICU pathways and follow-up models for international patients.
